Ginger is less than 2 years old, and small/medium in size. She needs to be an only dog in the home (but gets on well with dogs when out and about). She would like a home where someone is around a lot of the time.
This lady was found on the streets of Romania, and took a while to trust humans. Now, she bonds well with her people, even if she might be a little shy at first. Sadly, she is very protective of her food (no doubt because she had to fight for food when living on the streets) and so cannot live with another dog. However, she is good around other dogs when outside of the home.
Ginger is still decompressing from her hard life, and needs someone who will understand this - she has come a long way already. She needs patience, love, direction and support. Therefore, she would be better in a home with humans who have experience of dog guardianship.
She is such a special girl, and will certainly weave her way into the heart of whoever finds space in it for her.
