Fly is one of, if not my go to dog while working. 1/4 Kelpie 3/4 Border Collie, her sire is High Peak King who was bred by Rebecca Spooner. She gives her heart and soul into every job we do, whether that be moving ewes and lambs from one bit of grazing to the next or penning fat lambs up. Fly is a biddable young lass and improves with her working every day. She happily works groups of 1 or 100, our biggest group we’ve worked together alongside 2 other dogs was 500 store lambs, she loved it but unfortunately I don’t have that amount of sheep to work with consistently!
At home Fly is the most loving dog with a great off switch, she’s good with kids and polite other dogs. She is level-headed and fantastically natured with a real tolerance for most things (unless you’re a scary electric fence!)
Bill is a young dog coming on leaps and bounds with his training. His is both ISDS and KC registered, Wholestone Duke is his sire who has Lyn Howells’ Boss and his dam May has lines going back to Tweedale Jaime and Llangwm Cap. Bill is a very strong dog with plenty of power, would be trial standard if it wasn’t for his handler! 🙈 He has a great feel for his sheep as well as a fantastic pace behind sheep that most people comment on and will become a fantastic work dog as he gets older with more work/training under his belt.
At home Bill is much the same to Fly, he has a great off-switch in the kennel and out in the yard. A gentle nature with people, he love a cuddle! Much like his mother May. Fantastic with other dogs.
Both dogs are health tested clear with My Dog DNA, both dogs also carry one copy of Chocolate. Bill Carries Dilute, Tan and Saddle Tan. Fly carries Tan, Saddle Tan and a copy of the Roan gene. Plenty of videos of both dogs to be seen on my Facebook or can be sent direct. Both dogs can be viewed with the pups. These pups will need working/active homes to thrive.
