These eggs can be shipped Royal Mail Tracked24 which is a next day service. The eggs will be shipped in a box, each egg will be individually wrapped in a paper padding, placed in the base of a egg box and fully covered with wood shavings. We have done this so all packaging is either compostable or recyclable. Please take care when unpacking your eggs, as we will not be responsible for any breakages. We recommend leaving the eggs at room temperature for 24 hours if you have had them shipped.
We also offer collection on eggs from the RH7 postcode.
These eggs will be picked from 2 of our breedings pens containing a mixture of breeds.
One pen includes the following breeds -

You will receive a mixture of coloured eggs including Deep Green, Pale Green, Blue, Dark Chocolate Brown, Light Brown, Cream & White, the resulting female chicks will lay a mixture of Olive Green, Blue, Pale Blue & Deep Brown & Pale Brown eggs.
If you have any preference for colours add a note with your order and I will try my best to include the colours you’d like.
I am happy to offer any advice during incubation or raising the chicks, please feel free to message me on here for any help.
As of 28/1 we have done one test hatch for fertility this year- Of 15 eggs put in the incubator we had 14 fertile and 13 successfully hatch. Please see photos included of our most recent hatch (As chicks and as 8 week olds in the last 3 images). We also hatched several batches of our eggs last year with almost 100% hatch rates. I am expecting the hatch rate to only get to 100% once we are further in to spring as these eggs from my most recent clutch were laid at the start of January when the weather wasn’t great.
Please allow us up to 4 working days to ship eggs although we will aim to have them sent the next day.
We only ship Monday-Thursday to avoid eggs being stuck in the postal system over the weekend.
The eggs may arrive will small amounts of mud or dirt on them, we do not wash the eggs as this can affect the hatch rate, we personally have never washed any of our eggs and have not had any issues.
-Please Note- We cannot be responsible for any eggs that do not hatch, develop or crack because of postage. Posting eggs can affect the fertility and hatch rates. A successful hatch rate for shipped eggs is around 60/70%.
