We are looking to re-home our rooster, Glen, who is around 7 months old.
We adopted Glen from my daughter's nursery, who hatched the chicks in their classroom.
Glen has been with us since he was 1 week old and we will be very sad to see him go.
Glen can be both affectionate and feisty. He has been handled since birth by adults and children and is happy to be picked up and cuddled; however, as he is going through his adolescent phase at the minute, he is very protective of our hens, and is very wary of our three young children, hence why we feel it is no longer fair for us to keep him. We also live in a residential area and are conscious that he has a magnificent, yet loud crow.
We would love to see Glen thrive in a new home where he can get the love and attention he deserves.
