Ben is our beautiful true to type toy poodle.
he has a lovely temperament, and loves nothing more then a snuggle on your knee or to be tucked under your arm.
He is of very fine build and measures in at just under 11” to the shoulder so the top end of the toy poodle breed standard but within the range.
Although he was bought as a black boy from red parents he is slowly changing colour and is indeed a blue/silver boy, a rare find now in the poodle world and this is his trademark colour.
Although we don’t have a colour panel complete we have had black, silver, Chocolate, and Red thrown across various girls.
He is KC registered and fully DNA health tested and clear for the following:
* PRA-PRCD
* PRA-CORD1/PRA-rcd4
* Degenerative Myelopathy (DM)
* Gangliosidosis (GM2)
* Neonatal encephalopathy w. Seizures
* Osteochondrodysplasia
* Von Willebrand Disease 1
He also holds a BVA eye certificate from summer 2021.
He has no issues with his knees etc. Which is also common with the breed and overall in Excellent health.
So far he has fathered jackapoos, shih-poos, chipoos, sproodles, toy poodles, cockapoo. He is available to small and medium breed permitting they are in good health and fully health tested for their breed.
Flea and tick whether natural or chemical should be upto date please.
Natural cover only at the moment as he likes to do things himself.
As of yet he has never missed a bitch and recommend mating from day 11 and the cost includes 2 ties. As we are aware girlies are sometimes different, we do accept girls who have been progesterone tested or confirmed swabs to say they are ready.
If your girl doesn’t take you are welcome to come back the following season but we will require a vet note or a scan to confirm this.
He has never missed and is very good with the ladies as he knows his job with an average litter size of 4-6 so far.
