This super gentle young man spent the first two years of his life behind bars with no socialization or stimulation.
Finally he was sprinkled with some rescue fairy dust and he is now in foster in Witney .

Papy is such a sweet boy who is slowly starting to settle into life inside a home with people to show him the world is not so scary.
Papy tries so hard to be brave and while he is still timid of people approaching him, if you sit down he comes running over for a fuss.
Papy travels perfectly in the car both in a harness on a seatbelt and in a crate and has been camping and took it all in his stride.
So far he has not had any accidents in the house and he has been left for a short time both on his own and with our dog and has shown no destructive behaviours.
Papy walks beautifully on the lead and so far does not appear concerned about traffic, other dogs etc but he is still wary of people walking by so he will need his new adopters to continue to reassure him.
Papy is very good and patient with our excitable dog, correcting him when he is too much in a very gentle way and has not shown any resource guarding concerns. He lives with cats and shows no interest in them.
New owners will need to work on basic commands as he is still not ready to start learning anything other than how to trust people. However, he really is a such a good boy in the home already he will not need much.
Papy is 2.5 years old and weighs approximately 8kgs. Please share and help find him his forever home.
