Marshall is in foster care through no fault of his own, just his owners circumstances meant that she was out of the house long hours.
He is a really friendly and affectionate boy. He will bark if someone comes to the door. When he arrived he settled in pretty quickly, he is with a retired couple and is really enjoying having company. He’s very happy sitting next to you having fuss.
He’s ok being left for a few hours.
They have grandchildren that have visited and he was very affectionate towards them however as he hasn’t lived with small children we would like to rehome with no resident children under 10. He has not done anything to make us think he isn’t ok with small children and is not a nervous or aggressive dog.
He loves to go for a walk. On a short lead if he is alone he pulled to start but this was down to him being a little anxious in new surroundings. He has lived with another dog, when he’s walked with a friend he was far more relaxed from the start.
He gets along well with other dogs, he isn’t living with cats but can be cat tested if required
He travels very well in the car
All of our animals are cared for in foster homes until they find their forever homes, this gives them time to adjust if they have lived in an outdoor environment.
All of our animals come with 7 days worth of food and 5 weeks insurance from Agria Pet Insurance, as-well as lifetime Rescue Backup. Microchip transfer is completed by us.
Adoption is subject to a home check also nd adoption contract. In some instances an initial home check may be able to be completed via video call.
Once we have received your application someone will be in touch to discuss him and arrange a home check if you would like to proceed.
If an application is not successful on this occasion we will contact you to ask if you would like to be placed on our waiting list.
