💙 This cheeky chap is Tucker - isn't he beautiful!! Tucker is a friendly boy, he loves attention, cuddles and being groomed. He loves to be around other dogs and people, he will follow the other dogs around the house and will sit and lay with people on the floor.
Tucker has some separation anxiety when being left but his foster family have been working on this and can now leave him for 2 hours at home without any issues. He would need a home where someone is home most of the time and is willing to put in the time to help Tucker overcome his anxiety.
Tucker would love a doggy friend in his new home. He is very playful and doesn't always read doggy cues very well, he needs to learn some doggy manners to recognise when the other dog has had enough.
On walks, Tucker wears a harness and walks well. Pulls a little but this is being worked on. Tucker has good recall when there are no distractions
Tucker can live with older children, he likes the attention. He's currently a little wary of smaller children.
Tucker is a clever boy and needs to be mentally simulated so lots of chew toys and puzzles would be great.
Tucker sleeps well at night upstairs with his bed next to his foster family. He doesn't like to be on his own and training will be required to help Tucker overcome this. His foster family are currently crate training him and have got up to 30 minutes in the crate with the door closed. Tucker is toilet trained but will sometimes have an accident when he gets too excited. He travels well in the car.
