Sweetie, 3yrs old, 35cm tall (to her shoulders), looking for her forever home.
Meet Sweetie, a lovely girl who is desperate to find her forever home. She hopes there'll be a another dog in the home, but no cats or small furries. Sweetie would also like an enclosed garden to run around and play in.
She is currently in a foster placement and is learning lots of valuable things about living in a loving and supportive home. There aren't any children in the home, but we think she could live with older dog-savvy children. Sweetie is gentle when playing, and loves attention.
This sweet little girl is a bit wary of new people and other dogs when she first meets them. She just needs your guidance and advocacy to help her feel safe and build her confidence. Once she's sure that people/dogs aren't going to harm her, she enjoys interaction with them.
Sweetie walks well on the lead but can get distracted by her surroundings. Therefore, some extra training and guidance in this area would benefit her.
In the home, Sweetie really loves her box of toys and will just happily indulge in a play session whether someone joins her or not! The toys are also a really great source of comfort and distraction for her when she is left alone for short periods in her foster home.
This clever young lady responds well to commands and will sit or give a paw in return for a food treat/reward. There is plenty of scope for her to learn more words and tricks with her new forever human/s... and so lots of opportunities to have fun and gain a really strong bond with her.
