Our lovely Jessie is only 8-9 months old and resembles a collie or retriever (we think she'll be medium sized when fully grown). She is looking for a lovely family to adopt her where she will have another dog to play with. She could live with dog-savvy, gentle children.
Jessie has previously lived with cats and could possibly do so again.
So, about gorgeous Jessie; she has recently found herself a wonderful foster placement in a home that provides boarding and day care for a mix of other doggies. It's fair to say that she is very good at meeting other dogs. On her first day she met 8 other doggies in total, of differing breeds and sizes, and was amazing with them all.
Jessies loves the company of other dogs and playing with them. She loves running around with them and being chased. She's very cute to watch!
She had a little accident on her first night in the home, but has been clean in the house since then. So, we believe she is pretty much house-trained.
Jessie is interactive with her foster guardians, but gentle and affectionate. We believe that she could live with children, as long as they were dog savvy and knew to be gentle with her too, of course.
This super young lady eats lovely around other dogs and takes treats gently. She has been an absolute gem in her foster home, and is relaxing into home life really well. New things can be a surprise for her, but with gentle guidance she is normally fast to adapt.
Jessie really will make a super companion for the right people. She'd love at least one other dog in her life, some nice long walks and playtimes. We feel that she'd need a couple of walks a day as she will be an active dog. This smart young lady may also enjoy canine sports if that's something you're into or would love to try!
Jessie is one of 6 puppies found abandoned in the woods in Romania. Her siblings, Harry and Luna are also in the UK and looking for homes (their adverts can be seen on Pets4Homes and our Facebook page).
