Cedric, Edmund & Percy and a lovely group of male rats who have been with me at my rescue for a little while now. This is due to no fault of their own, I have just decided that the timing is right for them to find their forever home.
A little bit about their background:
- Cedric (grey hooded) arrived with me first at what I would have estimated 4 weeks old. He was constantly escaping his cage due to his size so he came to me for monitoring and to keep him growing healthily.
- Edmund (grey) and Percy (Husky) were a pre existing pair who bonded almost instantly with Cedric and took him under their wing!
It is also important to note that Edmund now only has 3 legs due to an incident at his previous home. The wound has healed over without leaving any signs of scarring, and it doesn’t impact his daily life. This being said, I can’t guarantee how this will affect him in his later life as it’s not a particularly common injury I see! He is still agile and isn’t in any pain.
These boys are currently living in a Savic Empire Zeno 3 cage, which suits them well. I would be happy for them to join an existing group if I was confident that the adopter has had experience in this area.
They are quick to handle but with patience they do settle, however they are typical rats on the lookout for fun and trouble!
