Name: Zulu Sex: Male Neutered: Yes Age: 3 years Size: med Dog friendly: Once introduced he is fine a little bouncy and vocal on the lead. This will need ongoing work he gets very excited going for walks quite vocal. Cat friendly: he is fine with cats, will bark at them if they surprise him (especially jumping up on the fence) otherwise quite respectful of them, like most dogs their butts are interesting to smell 🙄🤦‍♀️(not always appreciated). He allows them to head butt him which is good. Child friendly: Zulu has previously lived with 2 under 5 children and although incredibly sweet with them, now in foster with 3 other dogs it became apparent in a multi dog home he resource guards a food bowl. I will not home with children under 15 purely as it’s a concern. Description: Zulu is a very interesting dog as he looks like a German shepherd crossed with either a collie/sheltie. His brothers are totally different in looks. He is very lovable, loves snuggles until he gets too warm. He is good with new people (he does tend to bark a bit excessively at a knock at the door, but once greeted by the person at the door he is fine and friendly). He currently is sleeping on the bed sometimes he will get off the bed however that’s rarer now he has settled in. He loves being near humans. Zulu takes a little while to settle in the car, but is getting better with every trip. He is just an all round wonderful dog/companion and would be a great addition to any family. He likes to get all the attention from new people. He absolutely loves playing having said that he has lived as an only dog, so can be an only dog with friends. Ideally he needs a quiet country home with no neighbours and passer by traffic (cars and people) he is very vocal with all that. He is incredibly intelligent and learns quickly.
