Meet Brian, “Brian is very affectionate and lovable. He plays beautifully with my two big dogs and stops when told to by the dogs” 💞
Brian has been around children aged 10+ since being in the UK and is good with them however he can be very exciteable and boisterous and he does nip. He could therefore share his home with children 10+ following sensible introductions 👶
Brian accepts a collar, harness and lead. He is always kept double leaded and walks very well on this without pulling. He knows the command ‘look at me’ when getting close to other people, dogs, joggers and bikes and sometimes he does need some distractions as he can be nervous. He will therefore need his new family to continue to work with him on this 🐾
Brian is very good around the other dog that he lives with, however, he is not good around small dogs and doesn't like any dogs that bark or growl at him or run at him too quickly. He can therefore live with a calmer, larger dog with slow and sensible introductions 💞 🐾
Brian currently lives with cats and unfortunately is too playful for them. He would therefore need a cat free home 🐈
Brian is toilet trained and crate trained. He has never been destructive and can be left alone for up to 4 hours, however, he likes to be left alone with a chew toy and ball to keep him busy. He sleep in his crate overnight with a blanket on top. He can suffer with car sickness 💞
Brian does show guarding behaviours around his food with the other dogs that he lives with. He will therefore need to be fed seperately at all times
