Archie was rescued from a difficult situation from a family who abused him, but despite his past, he is a loving and people-oriented dog. He currently lives with us as a foster family, but unfortunately, our dog is not getting along with him. Archie can be a bit anxious at times, but this is improving day by day as he adjusts to a more stable environment. He would thrive as the only pet in the home.
He does have some quirks, such as occasionally chasing his tail when he's anxious, but he is on a path to recovery and making great progress. He is currently on a course of calming medication to help him settle, which will continue for the next few months ( all the meds to finish the course will be provided).
Archie is incredibly affectionate and enjoys lots of cuddles, we believe he would be a perfect companion for the person who works from home or retired. He would do best in a home without small children and with experienced dog owners who understand the needs of his breed. With the right environment and a loving family, he is sure to blossom into a human best friend.
He enjoys eating Royal Canin Hypoallergenic dry food, which suits him well. He would be happiest in a home with a secure garden where he can run and play with a ball.
He is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Currently located in Stockport, so the suitable candidate within 1-1.5 drive will be welcomed. Please fill free to contact me if you have any questions.
