This beautiful girl has been kept on a chain for most of her life. We watched as she ran free for the first time in the field with tears of happiness in our eyes…. But Sansa, despite all the odds stacked against her, has never let anything stop her from being happy 🥰

🩷 ABOUT SANSA 🧡
Sansa was found abandoned in Romania. She was tied on a chain in an overgrown garden along with Tiago. Whatever had happened, she was no longer wanted. Sansa greeted our rescuer with cuddles and requests for attention and instantly showed how beautifully natured she is. Our rescuer took her in and Sansa arrived with us around a month ago now.
She is a really lovely dog with lots of character and we think a few stories to tell. She has lost and ear and her tail has been docked also. She arrived with the most beautiful scruffy coat but was full of matts so the kennels have given her a hair cut which shows all of her pretty speckles 😍
Sansa comes across as a bit aloof to start whilst she’s doing what she needs to do but quickly comes round to make friends, she loves snacks and a good fuss! She walks okay on the lead but has obviously been used to roaming and will need just a small amount of patience to help her walk to heel. She is a clever girl.
Sansa was found with Tiago and he definitely takes confidence from her, they become a lot more playful and a bit more of their personality comes out when they are together but we understand 2 dogs are harder to rehome than one.
We don’t really have any negatives to say about Sansa. She is a really wonderful dog who given time and patience to learn she isn’t on her own anymore, will blossom into a fantastic family dog.
🧡 HEALTH 🩷
No known health issues. As mentioned above Sansa has lost half of one of her ears and her tail has been docked but neither of these seem to cause her any issue. She is spayed and fully vaccinated.
🩷SUMMARY 🧡
Sansa is a happy girlie who has amazed us with her resilience. She could live with older dog savvy teenage children as we’re not sure whether she has seen children before or of her interactions with them but from assessing her know that she loves people and affection. She could live as an only dog and has demonstrated that she could live with another dog and is very friendly with Tiago. She has lived in Romania for a long time and it may take her a short time to adjust to being the spoiled princess she deserves to be, but we don’t think it will take her too long to work her way into your heart….. or the snack tin!!
