I am unfortunately having to rehome our beautiful girl Willow. We have a child with Autism and Willow and her vocal behaviour is causing a lot of sensory issues.
We have had Willow since she was 8 weeks old. Her mother is a Staffy and her father is a staffy x Johnsons American bulldog. She was an accidental litter and we lovingly opened our hearts to her and we still do have a huge place in our hearts for her.
She is amazing with cats, other dogs, people and children. She is zero reactive and has never shown resource guarding. We have never seen an ounce of aggression in her. She raised 2 neglected kittens and played mum to them from a very young age. She has been around rabbits, goats, rats and birds.
The problem with Willow is that she is a ball of energy. She has a level of excitement that we just cannot tame within her. If someone comes to the house or knocks on the door she screams from excitement. It's not a normal scream, it's piercing and alarming. She is an all round vocal dog and although it can be hilarious, it causes our daughter issues. Willow does walk well on a harness but she also screams whilst on walks.
She is extremely loving. She thinks she is a lap dog and will offer you free baths and more often than not also fart on you. She is as daft as a brush and will be your shadow 24/7. She hasn't been left alone for long periods of time so I can't comment on that but she has never destroyed furniture. Just her toys.
This is an extremely reluctant rehoming situation. She is beyond perfect in nature and I've never met a dog with her temperament before. Or one that snores like a tractor. I will only accept serious enquiries. She is un neutered as it stands but she cannot be a breeding dog. She needs a loving home with regular walks and someone who will allow her 100% into their lives and beds.
Willow is microchipped and we will pass on all of her paperwork. Willow is collect only as I don't currently drive due to health issues. We are happy to have home visits and also WhatsApp calls.
