This lovely lady is 8 years old and is looking for a Forever Foster placement (no adoption fee), in a home with someone who is around most of the time. She needs a home without children. She could live with another calm and well mannered dog, but would be very happy as an only dog.
Clover was quite overweight a few months ago, but she has been living in a lovely foster home, where she has lost weight (she's now below 30kgs!) and is looking good. She's now got more energy and has better mobility (compared to before) and she has blossomed into a happy and healthy girl.
This lovely older lady will need access to a garden, and 2 daily walks of 20-30 mins each day. Her household would have limited visitors, and no children. This lady just wants an easy and quite life nowadays. She would perhaps suit someone who works from home but would love a dog for company without being pestered through the day. She’s very loving and likes to be around people.
Sadly, her fosterer is encountering her own health issues, and so we now need to find Clover a new Forever Foster home. This means that Clover will remain the ultimate responsibility of Amicii Dog Rescue, but that she stays with her family for the rest of her days. Our support includes help with vet bills, food and meds, as necessary - all this will be discussed and agreed before any fostering arrangement commences.
Clover will need to live within the West Midlands region; the closer to Worcester the better. We need to ensure that Clover doesn't become morbidly obese again, as she was very unhappy and couldn't walk. As a Forever Foster dog, we can keep an eye on her weight and support her family with this.
