Marley is a 3 year old mixed breed boy originally from Romainia, adopted as a young puppy in December 2021. He weighs just over 13kg and is neutered.
Marley loves people once he knows them, but he can take a little time to relax and get to know strangers. He responds well to kindness and positive reinforcement. In his previous home he was mostly walked on lead and the adopter tended to avoid other dogs, though they did say he had a number of doggy friends. He is currently in foster with several dogs and is learning how to play, and how to behave around other dogs. We are looking for a home with one or two friendly, well socialised dogs of a similar size.
Marley travels well in the car. He also knows a number of commands such as 'sit' and 'stay'.
Unfortunately Marley's adopters didn't have time for him, and he was beginning to show signs of frustration and anxiety, hence the move to foster. We are looking for an adopter who is consistent in their training, using positive reinforcement and who will introduce Marley to new experiences in a kind and supportive way. Marley will make a super companion in the right home.
