Marley is a 3 year old mixed breed boy originally from Romainia, adopted as a young puppy in December 2021. He weighs just over 13kg and is neutered.
Marley loves people, especially people he knows. He can be wary of some strangers, but soon relaxes once he realises they are kind. He is mostly walked on lead and is very good with other dogs, though he will bark if a larger dog comes charging over. He mostly walks well, though will pull if he gets an exciting scent. Off lead he generally has good recall. He has a number of doggy friends and we feel he would like to live with one or two friendly dogs of a similar size.
Marley travels well in the car. He also knows a number of commands such as 'sit' and 'stay'.
Unfortunately Marley's current adopters don't have time for him, and he is beginning to show signs of frustration and anxiety. He needs adopters who will give him plenty of exercise, and introduce him to new experiences. He would benefit from adopters who use positive reinforcement rather than 'command' behaviour. For this reason Marley should only be rehomed with children 15+
