I’m heartbroken to be rehoming my two sweet girls cinnamon and pickle, I have had them since the 1st of December 2022 and spoiled them since but sadly they have declanned.
I don’t have the space for another suitable sized enclosure to house them separately, or the mental strength to rebond them both to another gerbil, as it’s a long and risky process.
I think this is a wise decision for me to make especially how i already have two more boys I’m caring for (so that would be three cages) and a lot of work when I have just started university and struggling mentally.
I have an ikea detolf with a raised lid that one of them can come with, i would like them to go to a good home and proof of this, and due to their age they would be okay alone but I’d be happiest if they find a new female gerbil to be split cage bonded with ❤️ I do not mind them going to separate homes, but if you have the time to care for them both (in different cages of course) then that would also be fine.
