Please note that I am not a breeder.
This 8 week old male Robo lives in a rescue, now old enough for adoption.
He was one of a large group of very young babies surrendered by misinformed people who had kept Robos in pairs resulting in fights and unwanted pregnancies.
All hamsters are solitary including dwarf hamsters and need to live alone.
Robos are tiny, speedy and independent hamsters who need a minimum 100x50 enclosure with a species appropriate set up.
They are ideal for an adult who has the means and knowledge to create a fabulous hamster world but who may not have the time for daily freeroam a Syrian may require.
I have a very interactive Syrian who needs daily freeroam and a self contained Robo who knows my voice and trusts me enough to climb onto my hand but rarely chooses to venture outside of his home.
I love them both equally and respect their individual needs.
Robos are often overlooked in rescues so please consider giving one of those cute little creatures the life and future they deserve.
