Very sadly, I have decided to put Gorgeous George up for sale. The reason being that his older, rescue sister needs to be an only dog. This is in no way George's fault but I feel that at this young age someone will come along, fall in love with George and he will have a super happy future. (This is not true of his sister who in her best interests needs to stay with me.)
George came from a breeder who carefully genetically matched his parents who were both KC and health checked. George is also KC registered. George was checked by the breeders vet and my vet as soon as he came.
George had his vaccinations and flea/tick/worm treatment last week. The vet checked his heart, weight and teeth, etc. - all good. She was particularly impressed by his shiny white teeth!
George's dad was black, his mum was pepper and salt - George is a beautiful Black and Silver colour.
George is completely toilet trained. He has been socialised by going on regular walks with groups of my friend's dogs, although he gets excited easily and shows this by barking when getting out of the car to meet his chums, he settles quickly. He is used to countryside and town noises, including a local building site and firing range!! He shows no interest in sheep, which he was introduced to at an early age. He prefers to walk off the lead in an area with lots of space where he can run like the wind - it's a joy to see! He can be barky and unsure when passing unknown dogs. He prefers to keep a safe distance although we are working on this. He didn't bat an eyelid on bonfire night and enjoyed a ****** fun run with 2000 other people around Skipton this ******.
He walks very well on the lead and he is used to a harness.
He is crate trained and has a crate in the back of the car and just falls straight asleep on journeys! He has never shown any separation anxiety but I don't leave him for longer than 3/4 hours.
George 'sit's on command and his recall is amazing, he enjoys 'over' - jumping over logs, he has just about consistently learnt to 'lie', and 'wait' .
