Sporting Lucas Terriers are quite rare, but Freddy is a very typical one. Excellent temperament, excellent with children and just an all round sweetheart. I have never seen him aggressive or unpredictable; he loves people and can get quite excitable, but seems to know that around very young children, he needs to slow down somewhat and does so.
He’s not KC registered, and I plan to keep it that way; first and foremost, he’s our pet and a very special member of the family and we feel that is far more important than any pedigree or registration.
I’m only offering him up for stud, because the breed is rare and he has a lovely temperament. I’d never heard of the breed prior to getting Freddy, but I have fallen in love with them and feel the more people know of them, the better
