Rocco, (DOB 22.06.19) beautiful GSPointer boy , looking for his forever home.
Rocco, originally a rescue dog from Cyprus, was adopted in the UK a year ago. Unfortunately, due to the personal circumstances of his adoptive family , we need to find Rocco a new home.
This is what his existing family has to say about Rocco :
Rocco is the most sweet & cuddly boy! He loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the sofa with you after a long day and jump on the bed for a cuddle in the mornings, ready to start the day.. His favourite toy is a squeaky ball or anything he can shred for fun! He also loves a game of tug of war.. He’s very nosey and loves to be around people all of the time.
Rocco is really friendly with everyone he meets, he loves to say hello to people on his walks and isn’t bothered by other dogs. He will say hello and play if they come up to him, but if he can smell something on the ground, he’s much more interested in that than any other dog or human around!
Rocco sometimes pulls on the lead but is improving and after the initial excitement is over he walks much better. His recall is good until he is distracted by a scent and/or spots a rabbit or squirrel that he’s desperate to catch so this will definitely need to be worked on.
Rocco is great with other dogs and children.
He will be good with other friendly doggie in a house for a company.
Rocco has some separation anxiety . He will need someone who is around the majority of the time, or willing to work / help him to become more confident to be alone.
Rocco will be suitable to an active family, rural location with a secure garden, children if any over 12 years old .
