My beautiful Pinto. A female blue merle border collie.
Pinto has been brought up with cats and children and has the most wonderful temperament. I have had Pinto since she was 8 weeks old and she is now 2 years old. Never did I think I would be writing this advert.
In all the time she has been my companion, she has never once shown any signs of aggression. Pinto happily puts up with endless cuddles and attention from everyone. I have never known a friendlier dog!
She is toilet trained and uses the garden. She has great recall and will never tire of playing fetch! She pulls on the lead when first put on it, because she is so excited to play. After her playtime, she with happily walk on the lead nicely. Pinto loves to play in the stream and loves the woods.
Incredibly intelligent animal and has the greatest potential. I always wanted to do agility or flyball with Pinto, but circumstances change.
Pinto is ball focused (she is not toy aggressive and happily shares) she will wait for you to throw the ball and will ignore all else around her. Including other dogs that come to sniff her and horses that are being ridden in the woods where we regularly walk.
Pinto knows how to go to her bed, sit, lay down, turn around in a circle (her favourite trick for her treats) she knows what stay means but most chooses to ignore that command.
Pintos mum is a blue Merle border collie and her dad is a black and white border collie from a working farm. Pinto has a heart shaped patch on her upper leg. When Pinto had her first vet check, she was checked for the collie eye condition and given the all clear. She is up to date with all vaccinations and flea/worm treatments. A happy beautiful and healthy girl. She is not spayed.
Reason for rehoming is an unfortunate change is circumstances. I wish more than anything that it did not have to come to this, but I need to do what is best for Pinto. It would be selfish of me to keep her, knowing she could have a far greater life with someone else who could provide her with all the care and love she deserves, without the uncertainty of the future.
