Dennis is a great pony to have around. You can have fun while knowing you are safe. I’ve had Dennis for over 4 years now and he is loved by everyone. He is a lovely boy and will bring absolutely joy to the right person.
Under saddle he is more of a kick on rather than a steady up, but can school nicely and enjoys jumping. He is an absolute joy to ride round our off road hacking, never over excitable and sensible in open spaces. Out hacking on the roads he gets his confidence from others and will plod along with company (someone on the ground or other horses). On his own can be looky but is also down to me only going out with others and not on my own, so if done more regularly can see him growing in confidence.
Has been to local school hires and behaved well, is a lot more forward going than at home. Additionally his previous owner has taken him out and about and I can provide videos of him at a cross country hire with his previous owner at a request. Has never been dangerous; doesn’t rear, buck or bolt.
On the ground we can be bit of a typical Welsh pony so requires someone kind but assertive. However majority of the time he is quiet and always 100% to groom, bath, clip and shoe. Never been nasty and loves to say hello to everyone.
Due to him being inexperienced/ forward going out and about I would advice he is not for a beginner.
I am in no rush to sell Dennis, home is more important.
Can come with full wardrobe (price can be negotiated)
