Missy is not a Noah’s Ark dog but we have been asked to help find her a new home as unfortunately, due to her current owner’s change in circumstances, she needs a new family that has the time and experience to give her the life she deserves 🥰
Location : Baston near Peterborough
Breed : Working Cocker Spaniel (both parents seen at birth)
Age: 3 years old
Vaccinations: Up-to-date
Spayed: Yes
Temperament: Extremely affectionate, obedient, great with all ages, submissive, and well trained
Bite history: None
Good with dogs, people and kids : very good, playful. Loves children.
Behavioural issues : Like many of her breed, she pulls on lead but very good off lead and amazing recall.
Missy really needs a new family that preferably have experience of the breed and are prepared to work with her to correct the lead pulling and give her the amount of exercise she needs.
ADOPTION CRITERIA - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
❇️ Minimum age for adopters is 25
❇️ A successful home check is required
❇️ A nominal adoption donation applies
❇️ We do not rehome dogs in flats/apartments unless ground floor with own private garden
❇️ No cats
❇️ Experienced home required - children over 8 years
❇️ A fully secure garden with at least 6’ fences/boundaries is required
❇️ If working, no more than 4 hours absence at any one time.
Once a successful home check has bedn undertaken by the rescue, we will put you in contact with Missy’s current owner to arrange a meet and greet.
