DescriptionIt is with a heavy heart that I must rehome my wonderful dog, Ty. He is a 3-year-old, well-socialized family pet who has been with me since he was a puppy. Due to an overseas relocation for my new job, I need to find him a new loving home.
Ty is unusually sociable and loves meeting new people. This can be both a blessing and a challenge, as he eagerly greets everyone who walks by. Patience and a sense of humor are essential, as he attracts a lot of attention. Ty has grown up with teenagers and enjoys regular group walks with other dogs. He is gentle but not well-suited to young children.
He is strong and can pull on the leash until he settles into his walk, so he needs someone who can handle this. His fur requires regular clipping to keep him comfortable, and his ears need cleaning 2-3 times a week with a solution to prevent congestion and itching, making his grooming needs high. His new home must be committed to maintaining his grooming regimen.
Ty is playful and energetic, loving long off-leash walks and accompanying me wherever I go. He enjoys fetching his ball and playing hide and seek with squeaky toys. He rides in the car comfortably, either in the footwell or with his head out the window.
Though not hyper, Ty is very needy and likes to be the center of attention. His routine includes morning and evening walks, a midday ball throw, and accompanying me on errands. He requires a home that can provide ample physical and mental stimulation.
Ty is fed morning and evening with a mix of dry food and meat (and vegetables), or half a can of wet food mixed with oil for his skin, paws, and joints. High-quality food is important to keep him fit, healthy, and happy. He also receives daily chews to keep his teeth clean, which have kept them in excellent condition for his age.
In summary, Ty is a funny, playful, and sociable dog with high attention, grooming, and nutritional needs.
Ty requires daily access to long walks and ideally another dog for company. He is a wonderful companion who has been lovingly cared for. Basically, I am looking for a like-minded individual(s) of a his new home to spoil him as I have, to provide and have experience with a similar level of devotion and quality of care with regards to exercise, grooming, and nutrition.
I would be open to a trial period to ensure the arrangement works well for Ty and his new family. Additionally, I would like to keep in contact and visit Ty from time to time to see how he is settling in.
If you are interested, please get in touch. Include photographs, a bit about yourself, your daily routine, and your experience with larger dogs. Access to large open spaces is a must. I will review all replies, although it may take some time. Please include your phone number to facilitate contact. Sincerely, C and Ty
