I regret to say that I need to find a new home for my beautiful girl, Ava. Unfortunately, my two female Chows have decided they no longer get along, which has been heartbreaking for me. Ava has been spoiled and deserves a loving home. She would be perfect for a retired individual or couple as she is a calm soul but with patience and understanding can be homed anywhere as long as there's a nice garden. It's important that her new owners understand the breed and their laid-back nature. Below, I have listed some facts about Ava.
I don't ask for any money just a lovely home.
- [ ] very toilet trained she will sleep in till 3pm if it rains and can hold it in for a day so don't worry if she doesn’t go
- [ ] Oddly likes to walk along the roadside she will lean if not. She won’t cross the road don’t worry. She knows the words wait and cross with around the block walks
- [ ] Knows how to sit, paw, lie down and jump
- [ ] If you say Ava hugs, she rests her head on your chest
- [ ] Sits by you when you need to open the front door - wont run out
- [ ] She will chase a cat or sheep
- [ ] Waddles along on her walks. She loves to be lazy and a lot of sniffing
- [ ] Loves the sun but don’t let her over do it
- [ ] Sleeps outside a lot. She loves to sit and look at the world go bye, it’s so cute
- [ ] Zoomies after going number 2, this is so funny to watch
- [ ] She’s not a needy dog but does like to be beside you
- [ ] She is overall shy. She needs to build her confidence back from her fight. It has made her nervous
- [ ] She used to let kids lay on her and feed her but is she more scared. This will take time. Plenty of treats/rewards
- [ ] She will sleep beside you in restaurants and cafes. So calm
- [ ] I call her to come to bed and she sleeps on the floor beside me, shes never not been beside me
- [ ] Massive foodie since being spayed just watch her weight as she now puts it on easy
