She is just over 1 year old, and has been click trained(as shown in the video).
Her diet is mainly on Harrison’s Super Fine. I’ve been trying to switch to Top’s since it contains more fibre. She will eat but still prefers Harrison’s. Seeds and nuts as training rewards. Pepper seeds and sweet fruit like grapes and blueberries as snacks.
She is very easy to train, but not very well socialised since it’s mostly me taking care of her. So she will be sensitive around things that are new to her. I’ve been trying to desensitise her by taking her outside, having showers, introducing new toys and foods, and always letting her sleep in the carrier at night to prevent cage aggression. Her flight feathers are clipped and still waiting to grow back.
Nothing wrong with her; unfortunately, my partner doesn’t like birds at all. I would have kept her if I were single.
Ideally, I am looking for someone who has a bit of experience or knowledge about click training since it works on her very well.
