Florence the Bengal needs a loving home
With a heavy heart, we are seeking a new home for our beautiful Bengal cat, Flo.
About Flo:
• Breed: Rosette Spotted Bengal
• Age: 9 years old (adopted from a vet after being handed in at approximately 7 years).
• Size: Flo is a small and dainty lady, weighing in at 2.8kg.
• Personality: Flo is affectionate, social, and loves people. She gets along with calm, gentle dogs and has lived with one in this household and the interim vets. However, she’s not suited to living with other cats and would thrive as the sole feline in the household.
• Behaviour: Flo’s a loving companion and will often seek you out in the house. She spends most of her day alone in the house and is more active when we return from our works day, greeting us as we come in. If working from home, she likes to be in your lap and having attention. She doesn’t have free rein of the house or access outside at night as she can be vocal and disturb sleep of both us and our neighbours, so we sometimes find that she will protest on the floor outside of the litter tray.
She has never once clawed at or bitten us and is happy to be picked up and cuddled when she knows you. She loves bum taps and chin scratches and will run up her tree for the privilege.
• Outdoors: We believe she’s been neutered by the previous owners. She enjoys short outings in the garden to our water feature for a drink or a bathe in the sun but she’s not one to wander far.
• Diet: Flo is on a dry biscuit diet from Purina One Adult/Senior either chicken or salmon. She has access at all times as she doesn’t tend to overeat. An 800g bag will last her around 5 weeks. She will occasionally as a treat eat a purée stick.
• Health: Flo is microchipped and regularly flea and worm treated at home.
• Catccessories: multiple bedding, 1 small scratch post, 1 floor to ceiling cat tree, 2 litter trays and hygiene products.
What Flo Needs:
Flo would do best in a home where she’s the only animal and where her new owner can provide her with the attention, love, and company she craves. She’s a wonderful companion who deserves a home that can meet her needs and keep her happy.
Why we’re Rehoming Flo:
We are starting a new family, and unfortunately Flo seems to get stressed or protests from not enough attention, and will toilet outside of her litter tray. Most often this will be overnight whilst she is kept away.
We want her to have a home where she can truly thrive and be the centre of attention.
