Description

Sidney arrived as one of a pair in a neglect case and was in a bad way. Due to his neglect we would like to keep his history private - if you are interested in adopting him then we would of course fill you in. Sidney is a confident boy who loves a good stroke, even in his enclosure! He had taken well to the boar we paired him with, Tweed, and they enjoyed sharing a hay cookie together. Unfortunately we lost his companion unexpectedly and Sidney is now alone again. He is a big boy and loves to cuddle with you and watch TV, but he doesn't like green pepper. He is the more submissive boar of the friends we have tried to bond him with, and we are happy for him either to be bonded with another, gentle boar or to live 'next door' with another boar so that they can see, sniff and hear each other. Sidney has some issues with his back feet getting a bit red - he had awful bumble foot on arrival and despite treatment it seems this is something that would need to be managed for his whole life.
