LEGEND is a circa 11hh, adorable, friendly, up-to-date, about 3 years old, fun, well-handled, easy, mini-cob colt with mega-long Barbie mane who loves a fuss.
Now in good condition (came terribly thin), tamed & trained.
Not been coltish & has a lovely calm, friendly temperament ideal for kids & the disabled.
A lovely children's pony - lead rein, riding, driving or therapy pony project.
A small petting zoo or party pony business might also love him.
So easy a kind family with a bit of experience or help can likely back him themselves when ready.
Been fine to live in or out & get on great with other ponies.
Comes cantering across field when my girl whistles.
Will follow us around all day.
Easy to lead & loves to go for walks out alone or in company.
Been fine along & across the main road into the woods etc.
Good to tie up, brush, wash, clip, rug up & pleat (kids love that part!).
Good to have all four feet picked.
Super to load & travel.
A delight to hang out with & one you can get a good bond with.
Learns quickly & loves kisses.
No treats given or needed - a scratch, kind word or blowing up the nostril does the job.
If you don't see tack or rider on any pictures it's not because he couldn't or is any way bad.
For welfare reasons we believe in waiting till the pony is four or more mature before backing.
Better get as good & safe as possible first, so when the time comes easy for child/family to back.
Been through standard isolation/checks on arrival & had much kind input for 6mths+.
Not seen signs of sickness, notable injuries, asthma, laminitis, sweet itch. lumps or bumps.
Microchipped & passported.
Wormed.
Had 1st & 2nd Flue & Tetanus vaccinations
Had feet trimmed every six weeks.
Been good for vet & farrier & trainer.
Got his own rescue story.
Re-homing fee only £900 as seen.
To kind person, family or small pony business.
Big families, those affected by autism (or the like) or home schooling especially welcome.
Full ownership, passport, signed receipt given i.e. pony becomes yours once fully paid for.
Not a loan or lease rescue.
As so lovely & easy happy to consider novice person/family.
