Alfie is a really nice boy who is in foster care where he has been found to be very affectionate and extremely intelligent
He’s a typical happy cockapoo. He barks when someone comes to the door but only through excitement, he loves everyone he meets
He has lived with children however he started to guard his toys after getting fed up of being teased with them therefore we are looking for a home without children. Someone who has had similar dogs previously who will set boundaries.
He is not resource guarding at all whilst with us and we are looking for someone who can be kind but firm to stop this habit from developing again.
He’s very good to groom, bath etc.
He is getting along well with other dogs, he isn’t living with cats but can be cat tested if required
He travels well in the car and he is very good on a lead
All of our animals are cared for in foster homes until they find their forever homes, this gives them time to adjust if they have lived in an outdoor environment.
All of our animals come with 7 days worth of food and 5 weeks insurance from Agria Pet Insurance, as-well as lifetime Rescue Backup. Microchip transfer is completed by us.
Adoption is subject to a home check also nd adoption contract. In some instances an initial home check may be able to be completed via video call.
Once we have received your application someone will be in touch to discuss him and arrange a home check if you would like to proceed.
If an application is not successful on this occasion we will contact you to ask if you would like to be placed on our waiting list.
