With such rare and beautiful colour of the fur and the eyes Berta had spent her entire life in a small, filthy cage. Her world was dark, cold, and hopeless. She had never known kindness—only rough hands, hunger and cold. Her body was weak, her eyes dull with exhaustion.
Then, one day, everything changed.
A team of animal rescuers had heard whispers about a breeder who had abandoned his dogs in the chaos of war. When they arrived, they found a nightmare—cages stacked on top of each other, dogs crying out for help, some too weak to stand.
One rescuer, a woman named Anya, knelt in front of Berta’s cage. Their eyes met—Berta’s full of fear, Anya’s full of determination.
“You’re safe now,” Anya whispered.
Berta has been wrapped in a warm blanket. For the first time, she felt something new—comfort.
The journey out of the war zone was long and treacherous. And she has finally made it and she is now looking for the loving and caring family.
She is very gentle and affectionate, she loves kisses and cuddles.
She is good with kids, other dogs, and cats.
