This is Doughnut (mixed akita and staffy) he is a loving dog who loves cuddles. He was a rescue I took away from the original owner a few years ago due to him being malnutrition loss of fur covered in scabs and fleas and never walked or socialised. We got him to good health and out of resource guarding. He was doing well with other animals until a dog not on a lead attacked him and myself. He does not like other animals unless he is introduced first with a muzzle on for a bit then he is fine and plays well. He loves going on walks but needs to stay on a lead if he is in a harness he is a puller but a rope lead around the muzzle he's less likely to pull. Sadly and with a heavy heart I'm having to re-home him due to my own circumstances in living arrangements. He will be good in a home without another animal or if you do have another dog a couple of introductions first would be best and as previously stated he can be a puller when walked so some strength. He is up to date on vaccines neutered and chipped last worm medication was 2 weeks ago with a spot on flea treatment. I am not charging for him to be homed all I want is for a caring person to have him. Also he is very protective of females. Even with me if I played around with my partner he would bolt across the house grab me and pull me away. But he will do that with any female. If.im grabbing his snout and he's trying to chew on my hand if they put there hand out in his mouth he would stop instantly and just start licking. He is a really good boy and so loving and deserves all the love he gets especially as he didn't for the first few years of his life. I have put as much on here as I can so you know what sort of dog he is. He can be a pain with other animals but once knowing them he is really good. Even friends dogs like the sausage pup that jumps all over him he plays but if the pups yelps he jumps away to make sure he's okay if the puppy goes back to playing he will play again. I hope someone can give him a chance and see the love he has for people. If you can't handle the way he is let me know and I'll take him back as I can keep him at my parents for a bit till he is homed again.
