Elena was brought to the uk 1 year and 3 months ago, in romania she was found as a puppy in a dumpster and rescued, then lived in a kennel for many years until she was brought to the uk.. once arriving here she was in a foster home for 3 weeks and then I adopted her. She is neutered and travels in car very well, she is also potty trained will not poo or pee inside, she is used to having early breakfast then a walk, another walk roung 5pm and then dinner and last poopy of the day. She already had a scar on her side when I received her but no one knows where it came from. Sadly Im looking to rehome her since I will be moving back to Mexico and I don't think she will be able to adapt to the busy hot mexico city since she's used to colder weather and more quiet environments. She is very sweet and loyal, she can be a bit afraid to new environments and people but adapts with some weeks of patience and education. Her social skills with other dogs aren't great so she needs some training, she's never had a fight but will bark at other dogs at first sight then sort of calm down, depending on whether the other dog is calm or not. She is good with cats but needs to be gradually introduced. She has been living with a cat for over a year and has never tried chasing the cat or anything like that they can even sleep on the same bed together. Even though i let her get on my bed or sofa she wont do it if you dont indicate her to. She is around 5 years old, loves walkies but doesn't have alot of energy to be running and playing around shes more of a fuss lover.. bellyrubs is her favorite. she isn't a boisterous dog however every now and then if you find a safe enclosed field to let her loose she will run for like 30 seconds. she also has good recall but again you would need to work on your bond with her and introduce her to safe enclosed area like a field and get her used to it.. then you can let her off the lead and she will walk close to you and follow. I'm looking for someone who has patience and understanding for a rescue dog, we don't know her history but she does seem to have some trauma hence why shes afraid of new people. The adoptant should be willing to invest time in bonding and training with elena.
