Description

Why Bruce is So Special: ❤️ Bruce is a larger breed dog who has an amputated front leg, but this doesn’t stop him from living life to the fullest! He’s incredibly strong, loves to walk (though at a leisurely pace!), and enjoys nothing more than sniffing around and exploring the world around him. Water is his second love, and he gets around with no problems at all. ❤️ Bruce is a very social boy! He loves everyone he meets, whether it’s humans or other dogs. He’s been well-socialised by his previous family, who regularly had him walked by a group dog walker, so he’s a pro at meeting new furry friends. ❤️ Bruce is very easygoing in the house. He loves to sleep, eat, and shower his humans with affection. He’s not a fan of loud noises and might flinch if something drops, but he’s quick to settle and return to his relaxed self. ❤️ Bruce is strong on the lead but has a lovely, steady pace. He’s more of a “sniff-everything” kind of dog than a long-distance runner! He enjoys his walks, but shorter, slower walks (no more than 30 minutes) every second day are just perfect for him. He’s a true diva at times, especially if he doesn’t get his way—he’ll dramatically crash to the ground and refuse to get up. But trust us, it’s all part of his charm! What Bruce Needs: • A home without small children or cats, as he has had trouble adjusting to children in the past. • A quiet, peaceful environment where he can thrive as the only pet. Bruce deserves to be the center of attention and soak up all the love he can get. • A garden would be ideal for him to potter around, and one without steps (he needs space to navigate). • A family that is happy to give him lots of affection and doesn’t mind a bit of diva behavior (he’s not afraid to demand attention with his funny “badooms!”). • Bruce would do best in a home where he doesn’t have to walk with other dogs—he likes his walks at his own pace. Bruce’s Stats: • Weight: Approx. 29kg (he’s a big boy!) • Vaccinated, neutered, and up-to-date with flea and worm treatment. • Loves getting in the car for adventures to parks and dog fields. • He can do stairs just fine when given the space, and he has no trouble getting in and out of the car. • He eats complete dry food twice a day and loves his joint supplements. Bruce is the ultimate companion who will bring so much joy, laughter, and unconditional love into your life. If you think you have room in your heart and home for this adorable, goofy, three-legged boy, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. 🐶 Visit our website to complete an application form today: www.savingandrehomingstrays.org A virtual home check and adoption fee will apply. Thank you for considering giving Bruce the loving home he truly deserves! 💖 ________________________________________ Bruce would be the happiest pup with a forever family that can spoil him with love, attention, and gentle walks. Is that you? 💕
