This is shadow, the most loving and loyal boy you will ever meet.
Due to a change in personal circumstances, it breaks my heart to have to rehome him due to no fault of his own. I just simply do not have the space and time he needs, that I had planned for him.
I have held on trying to find the best alternative I can but unfortunately that is taking longer than he can wait. He’s getting frustrated and that break my heart more so I’m being selfish holding on any longer.
I fell in love with shadow at 8 weeks, from a lovely family where I met his mum, the family pet, he then came home to me at 12 weeks. He has always been so cuddly and playful. Shadow has grown up with children and is fantastic, I have a now 2 year old and 8 year old. He is still a playful pup however so slightly nippy when hyper and doesn’t always realise his weight and size.
He will definitely benefit from some basic training as he is very obedient on his terms (normally when treats are involved) but he is so eager and ready to learn. He’s a very smart GS (opening doors, puzzle boards etc) so keeping him stimulated is a must.
Shadow is great with other dogs, never had any issues when out however he doesn’t like cats and has recently decided he doesn’t like our own cats either causing another problem for him. And the cats.
He loves walking, normally walked in the evening for an hour. Sometimes a shorter one in the morning or through the day. He loves fetch but tug of war is his ultimate favourite!
He pulls on his lead but is getting better, will benefit with more training. He loves to walk without a lead and his recall is good but only in a secure area (I’ve only tried country walk paths and a quiet pond) without distractions but with the time and dedication I don’t think it would take long for him to perfect this.

Will pack his food bowls, favourite toys, leads and blanket. XL Crate if needed but not necessary he isn’t use to being shut in, only a space of comfort with his bed.
Shadow needs space and a good amount of attention which is why I am asking for a fee. To ensure only serious, genuine people are willing to provide him with he somewhere better than I can unfortunately give him right now and somewhere he will be loved!
