Moe- Frenchie Mix Male Puppy – Approximately 9 Weeks Old - we are not sure of the mix but a few people have Chihuahua because of those amazing ears. Currently being fostered in Gloucestershire in an adult home with other dogs.
These puppies, all boys, came into our care from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Initially, we were only there to assess the conditions, but words can’t truly capture the state these poor pups were living in.
Some were so tiny and frail that it was hard to imagine a happy ending for them. There was no question—we had to bring them all out, along with the two adult dogs, to give them a fighting chance.
Right now, they are receiving the care they so desperately needed. They have been treated for urine burns on their little feet, eye infections, ear mites, and worms.
They’ve started their vaccinations, and they’re now being fed high-quality food across four small meals a day. In the space of a few weeks, the transformation has been incredible and you would never have guessed their past and where they came from.
Thanks to the love and dedication of their foster homes, these little ones are blossoming before our very eyes. Their sweet and happy natures are beginning to shine through, and they’re quickly letting go of their fear and turning into typical balance naughty puppies.
Moe is in foster with his brothers Curly & Larry this is what his foster mum said about him
Moe is the smallest of these 3 puppies and has grown and developed as well as his brothers. He is still the quietest of these 3, he is happy and confident but looks and listens before diving in.
He is also the most affectionate and cuddly of these puppies but loves other dogs and toys as well. He holds his own very well with his bigger brothers and also is learning several commands.
Moe is the most reliable, so far, for using puppy pads and also going outside to toilet. Not house trained yet of course but they are all getting the hang of it. Moe when he first came in weighed 1.45kg and now weighs 2.1kg so is growing well, also had his second jabs this week and is looking forward to being able to go outside from next week.
The Vet is pleased with him and has no health worries. Initially there was worry with some of their eyes including Moe due to the unsanitary conditions they had been kept in, but this has improved they do have very some minor scaring but our vet is satisfied with their eyes, they have improved and both boys appear to have normal eyesight and need no further treatment.
He enjoys exploring the house and garden, at the moment he doesn’t seem to seek out mischief in the same way as his brothers and likes to potter around checking things out. A typical puppy, he loves to play, especially wrestling with his brothers as well as with toys.
Despite being so small he holds his own very well with his larger brothers. Moe is always in the middle or at the bottom of the snuggle pile when they’re all together and when sleeping.
He also loves his food, uses puppy pads and travels well in the car. Moe knows his name and has the waggiest tail, he is starting to come forward when you call him.

When we search for homes for our puppies, we prioritize finding people who understand the critical importance of these early weeks in a young dog’s life.
They need to have the time and knowledge to properly socialize the puppies, introduce them to the outside world, and appreciate the value of puppy classes in teaching them how to respond to their owners, even with distractions.
We do not rehome puppies to families with children under 10, as many of the puppies are very small, and we believe that households with older children can provide the time and attention they need.
Additionally, we will not place them in homes with unneutered dogs.
