🐶 SONNY is a small but spirited girl, a 1.5–2-year-old Chihuahua cross with endless love to give. Despite her very tough start in life, she greets everyone with trust and affection, longing for a place to call home.

🐶 SONNY arrived last Friday to family in UK and was settling ok, unfortunately family feel she is not good match for their 2 resident dogs. Sonny is such affectionate girl and sometimes struggles to share her humans with other dogs.. That's what her family say about her : " Sonny is a sweet loving girl who loves to be with you,she loves cuddles and belly rubs and loves to play with toys.she will sit when you ask her and comes to her name.she loves older children and goes to anyone for a fuss.she sleeps well at night in her bed that we have in the kitchen.we will be sad to see her go as she is so lovely but unfortunately my dogs are not coping well, she deserves a lovely home she’s amazing"
SONNY’s Rescue Story:
🐶 SONNY’s life has been a whirlwind of joy and heartbreak. Once abandoned, she was rehomed, and it seemed like her story had reached its happy ending. But that happiness was short-lived. Her family vanished, likely fleeing the horrors of war, leaving SONNY behind to fend for herself.
🐶 Initially, rescuers thought she was safe on the streets during the warm summer days. Volunteers provided food and water, believing she would be fine for a short time until a foster home became available. Tragically, this assumption proved wrong. After just five days, SONNY disappeared. She was found in a ditch, her tiny body battered, with a deep gash on her head and covered in blood. Rushed to the clinic, it was a miracle that no bones were broken and her eyes remained unharmed. The wound was determined to be from a knife—not an accident, but a deliberate act of cruelty. Who could harm such a small, innocent soul remains a mystery. Despite her ordeal, SONNY’s resilience shone through, and she healed completely without any lasting physical issues. Now, SONNY is safe and ready to find her forever home, where she’ll never have to face such horrors again.

🐶 SONNY is a playful, active, and affectionate little dog who adores human company. Her favourite activities include chasing toys, cuddling on laps, and leaping high into the air—like a true Chihuahua, her jumps defy her tiny size! She has an open and trusting nature, quickly forming bonds with everyone she meets.
🐶 SONNY is friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company, making her a great companion for a playful and sociable canine sibling. She’s also good with cats, either ignoring them or engaging in gentle play. SONNY loves children and will thrive in a family with kids over 6, as her enthusiastic jumping may be too much for very small children.
🐶 Housetrained and good on a lead, SONNY is ready to bring joy and warmth to her new home.
