Sadly, due to a change in circumstances that he hasn’t adjusted well to, we need to find a new home for our boy, Rex. He’s a wonderful dog but requires more attention than we can currently provide.
Rex knows basic commands like sit, paw, voice, and down. He’s a laid-back couch potato who loves cuddles. He gets along well with other dogs, though we’re unsure about cats. He barks when someone arrives but quickly settles after a sniff.
He responds to his name, but his hearing can be selective, so we wouldn’t trust him off-lead in open areas. However, his recall is excellent in enclosed spaces.
Rex is house-trained but tends to wake us up at night for a wee. The longest he has been left alone was 7 hours, during which he simply slept.
He has been raised around children, from 1.5 to 6 years old, and is great with them.
His only quirk is excitement or fear-induced peeing, but he’s still young and may grow out of it.
He walks well on a lead, occasionally pulling but not excessively.
Rex is up to date with all vaccinations and vet care.
Please keep in mind that he is still a pup, with all the usual puppy behaviors, before reaching out.
