Description
It brings me great sadness to have come to this decision, but I will be looking to re-home my beautiful, hilarious boy, Wolfie. Wolfie turned 1 years old in April and is the most loving, happy and cuddliest frenchie you will ever meet. (I’ve owned 4 in my lifetime) he never gets bored of hearing his name called and always runs over with pure joy for a stroke/cuddle. The love he has to give is immense. Wolfie is lilac fawn and his fur is the softest I’ve ever known. He has the most beautiful icey blue eyes, which is where he gets his name Wolfie from. My reason for rehoming Wolfie is due to some ongoing behavioural issues that I can no longer manage. I have another 3 year old female frenchie and trying to manage both of them as a single person has become too much for me. The main catalyst that has brought me to this decision, is Wolfie’s development of aggression towards other dogs. He was castrated at the age of approx 8 month old. However, this has not stopped dominance from occurring as a now more mature male (I will put the adoption costs towards a dog behaviour expert for you). This has been particularly difficult for me since I have a large family of dogs. We all gather at my mams house with our dogs, twice per week, and I can no longer do this as Wolfie attacks the other dogs quite badly (they have to be physically separated when the fight breaks out). This progressively got worse, where they can no longer even be in the same room together. I also work away 2 days per week, during which time my mam cares for my dogs. However, she is now unable to do so for the above reason (she has her own dog) and no pet sitters (dog boarders) will accept him due to the risk he may attack the other dogs they care for. It’s put me in a very tricky situation as I’m at risk of loosing my job after taking so much time off work/not working away whilst I’ve been trying to find someone to pet sit for me on a regular basis. It’s also not financially viable to do this twice per week. It really breaks my heart that this is the reality of the situation, as I know he and my female frenchie will miss each other terribly. I’d love to re-home him with someone who os happy to stay in contact with us and we could still meet up with my female frenchie. Or I can even look after him if you go on holiday etc. Of course this is not essential, it would just be lovely. Wolfie is not ‘the perfect dog’ (no dog is). So Please consider his behavioural issues discussed before deciding if he is the right dog for you. He is however the perfect cuddly companion and will love you unconditionally. He loves his food, toys, and is of course toilet trained (also does some tricks). LOVES his walks. He’s not your normal frenchie, he’s very active and healthy. He does not pay much interest to other dogs on walks unless they come up to him, at which point he snaps. (I just tell other dog walkers he’s not friendly so they don’t approach) But otherwise, if you stay in your own lane, he’s very much in his own world loving life (must not be let off lead). Only serious enquiries please. I am not in a rush to re-home Wolfie and will wait for the right person/family. I’d like to ensure he is going to his FOREVER home, so I will require a lot of information about you before making the decision it’s the right fit. He must to go to a home with no other animals (obviously). Yes he does get along with my female frenchie but he has grown up with her from weeks old. The adoption costs are purely to cover behavioural training which I will purchase for you upon adoption. It is also to deter the wrong people from applying. Thanks for reading and for your interest. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I look forward to hopefully meeting the perfect potential new mam/dad for my Wolf Wolf x 07985782931
