DescriptionLennie is a rescue from Cyprus who has flown to a foster home near Bradford to help him in his search for a forever family and home. Here is a little about him:
Lennie was adopted as a puppy and lived with his mum in Paphos area in Cyprus, high on the mountains. He enjoyed life to the full, with lots of love and amazing walks!
Unfortunately Mum had to move because of work and Lennie is struggling with the heat at the new location. The rising temperatures here in Cyprus make him very unhappy! So Mum has come to the very difficult decision to ask for our help, to find him a home in the UK where he can live happily ever after. So Lennie has flown to his foster home in the UK.
Lennie is a lovely dog, loves all dogs, cats and humans. He has not lived with kids so preferably no small children, because of size as well. He is 34 kg and we think he may be a GSD / Cretan Hound mix.
He is amazing on the lead and his mum says he trots like an equestrian eventing pony! He is amazing off the lead as well and he is whistled trained. He will come with his tracker with a 2 years subscription just in case, he decides to chase a rabbit!
He can stay alone in the home for hours with no issue. He sleeps deep and sound in his bed!
He is an absolute goofball. a loyal sweetheart, very friendly, super gentle and a big softy!
He has had many adventures in his life. He lost 1/3 of his tongue after coming in contact with a processionary caterpillar BUT this does not hinder him from eating or drinking normally.
If you wonder about the scar under his eye, this was another adventure he had, with a poisonous viper! He came out a winner! But has the scar to remind him that we do not get involved with snakes!
His foster mum says:
"He is the most gentle soul. So patient with our girl who jumps all over him. He is a dream to walk. Eats well and the cuddliest dog ever!"
His photos say it all.
