This is Benji, he is a loveable jack Russel x chihuahua. He is 3 years old, fully house trained and great with cats and children.
However, after rescuing him a year ago, we have put a lot of work into him but he is unfortunately still not able to be outside or around other dogs.
He is very attached to our other dog so is great with her but is very scared of any other dog he meets: not aggressive, just hides behind me and barks but will snap if the strange dog gets in his face or won't leave him alone.
Please note he is not great outside due to being a covid puppy. We have desensitised him for the past year but even with training and sedation, he is still very nervous of the outside world.
Will suit a single person household as a companion where he can sniff around the garden, have lots of cuddles all day and can be the only pet so he isn't stressed.
He loves to play fetch and just be in your arms.
He is a beautiful boy and this has taken a lot to reach this decision but we are an active family and with his needs, he often finds himself left behind which isn't fair.
I will vet any possible offers as I will not allow him to go anywhere that we feel isn't the perfect fit for life. Will come with lead, harness and bowls.
