Description
Updated profile for little Larry.
Larry- Frenchie Mix Male Puppy – Approximately 9 Weeks Old - we are not sure of the mix but a few people have Chihuahua because of those amazing ears.
Currently being fostered in Gloucestershire in an adult home with other dogs.
These puppies, all boys, came into our care from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Initially, we were only there to assess the conditions, but words can’t truly capture the state these poor pups were living in. Some were so tiny and frail that it was hard to imagine a happy ending for them. There was no question—we had to bring them all out, along with the two adult dogs, to give them a fighting chance.
Over the past couple of weeks they have received the love and the care they so desperately needed. We’re treating them for urine burns on their little feet, eye infections, ear mites, and worms. They’ve started their vaccinations, and they’re now being fed high-quality food across four small meals a day. In just a couple of weeks they are completely different dogs to the poor little mites that first joined us thanks to their lovely foster homes.
Larry is in foster with his two brothers Moe & Curly this is what his foster mum said about him from 1.8 kilos when he first arrived to 2.5 kilos now.
Larry is the adventurer and seems to be the cleverest of these 3, he has the brindle in his coloring, he is generally the first to go to explore, he is confident and determined. His house training is coming along but still work in progress. He also loves to play with toys and with his brothers, more greedy around food and still tries to inhale it as he along with Moe were the smallest and most vulnerable when they first came in. He is a cuddle monster and will always find time for cuddles.
Being more confident and more into people than the others we think he would be fine to go as an only dog.
He has a scar on his head and has broken his tail at some point it bends half way along, he but is fine with no issues, Initially there was worry with some of their eyes including Larry due to the unsanitary conditions they had been kept in, but this has improved they do have very some minor scaring but our vet is satisfied with their eyes, they have improved and both boys appear to have normal eyesight and need no further treatment, but its so bloody sad that such a little baby has been through so much already - we feel him and Moe being the smallest never would have made it.

When we search for homes for our puppies, we prioritize finding people who understand the critical importance of these early weeks in a young dog’s life. They need to have the time and knowledge to properly socialize the puppies, introduce them to the outside world, and appreciate the value of puppy classes in teaching them how to respond to their owners, even with distractions.
We do not rehome puppies to families with children under 10, as many of the puppies are very small, and we believe that households with older children can provide the time and attention they need.
Additionally, we will not place them in homes with unneutered dogs.
