Description
We are looking to rehome our 5 month old pocket bully gypsy due to falling pregnant unexpectedly and not having the time to train or give her attention due to having a terrible time with my pregnancy. She’s house trained and enjoys taking part in training but is very energetic and excitable which is to much for our house handle.
She’s grown up with My son who is 8 and has autism and adhd and finds her to difficult to handle, so I worry the new baby will get harmed as she does take the bully name for a run. So thinking she would be more suitable in a house hold with adults and teenagers only.
She has also grown up with my ridgeback mix but bully’s her all the time which is making my originally dogs life hell as gypsy Bullly’s her by taking toys and when they play gypsy doesn’t like being dominated so will lash out at my older dog. So would suggest she goes to a dog only home and the correct training to be given as she does like other dogs but she will use her weight to bully them and possibly cause a fight due to the pushing.
I also have two cats one she doesn’t bother but the other again she Bully’s the cat so unless your cat will put her in her place then I wouldn’t advice taking her in.
I got her from a “good breeder” where I believe she wasn’t with her mum very often as she will try dominate everything and everyone. I’ve had bully’s before I know how stubborn they can be but gypsy takes it too a whole new level she is queen and no body else is going to tell her differently. She does still nip sometimes but she was allowed to do this to her breeder his hands were basically chew toys to the pups and we’ve struggled to stop it ever since.
I would like her to go to someone who knows the breed as these dogs have special requirements and someone who has a knowledge with dog training as she has a few kinks. But she is loving wants all the attention she can be jumpy but again I have a son with autism who is rough handed and as much as we try to explain that she is small and can’t handle the same as our bigger dogs he just never got it and we would love to see her go to a really good home.
I paid 1700 for her and was told I would receive papers but I haven’t heard from breeder since so willing to part with her for £1200 or nearest offer.
She’s goes to the vets once a week and is fully wormed, flead, chipped vaccinated including kennel cough.
Will be sad to see her go as she was a dream dog of mine but I simply can’t give her what she needs atm and I don’t want it to be too late and her develop some bad habits.
