Description
The hardest and honest sale ad I will ever write. We are sadly re homing our pooch.
Our beautiful French Bulldog - Buzz ( Buzz has been neutered due to a female dog previously living in our house)
We have had buzz since lockdown day 1, and he joined our family as a puppy 7.5 weeks old. He is up to date with all vaccines, I worm and flea him as and when needed, I don’t follow monthly plans as I don’t think he needs excess chemicals etc. he has never had fleas nor worms.
He is A Fawn Black mask, KC registered and 5 years old. Buzz has grown up around dogs, adults and children (two children under 5 in the home) however, Buzz has recently become wary and can be reactive towards other dogs. New neighbour has moved in next door with a male staff and if their dog barks, Buzz will rush to the fence and try to get to him. I think this is causing his “waryness” I think this could be overcome with training. we are lucky enough to live opposite a field so he gets regular walks on and off the lead there. Buzz’s recall needs work! Sometimes he’s great, sometimes he will damn well ignore you. Buzz is fed dry food (wagg) and gets on just fine! We did feed him Royal Canin “French bulldog” but he just continuously had diarrhoea with it. We found this to be the best food for him and he will eat it out of a slow feeder bowl, he is fed once a day but a nice big bowl full, and he tends to save some for the afternoon rather than eating it in one go.
Buzz loves beach walks, paddling in the river, cheese, strawberry heads, cucumber and a good roast dinner.
Sometimes in the summer his belly can dry up a little and become itchy, but otherwise no other skin conditions, usually a bit of cream or an antihistamine sorts it out.
Buzz will happily eat a worming tablet straight from your hands, loves treats although will scoff them far too quickly and throw it up and then eat it again. Buzz loves to sunbathe, but does NOT cope well at all being walked in the heat! - all summer walks must be early morning or very late evening. Buzz is very happy on his own in the house for a few hours, he will either sleep or play with toys. He loves a big comfy bed and blankets, he will tuck himself in. He’s not quick to move, he will stand behind you and get in your way and you end up tripping over him.
Please messsge me for any questions, query’s, I want him to go to an honest home that will just love him dearly. Sadly I don’t think he can live with other dogs (yet). We are asking for a small slightly negotiable fee to ensure he goes to the right home.
