🏡 Looking for his forever home
Todd (1.5yrs, 6kgs) has been with us for over a week now & has put on weight & increased in confidence. He is alert, quick, intelligent & fearless. Todd is also very affectionate, & has a very saggy tail!
Toss has bonded to me (foster dad) very quickly & has to be close to me all the time. This may be separation anxiety which will need addressing but having him here for only a week, it is still very early days to tell for sure!
Todd sees everything as a playground and likes to jump over furniture! He has learnt to climb up and downstairs and will need a secure garden to stop him wandering, as he does like to explore!
Todd enjoys going out for walks and is high energy. He likes to be in front and does pull a bit on the lead! Off lead, Todd will run around and return when called. He likes chasing balls and is learning to fetch! Being active and food driven, I think Todd would benefit from agility training and puzzle enrichment activities.
Todd does love to play with other dogs when out but leaves our other dog (who is an old man) alone in the house. He really enjoys rough play with me and does nibble when playing (like puppies do) so we have been giving him soft toys to play with to redirect him. Todd could be toy possessive if ignored so training will need to continue with this in his new home.
Todd has a high prey drive and will chase when he sees pigeons and squirrels so I think a no cat home would be more suitable.
We have children in our neighbourhood who Todd has shown no reaction to so he could live with older dog savvy kids I think.
Todd is an absolutely lovely natured dog and with lots of love, he will be the perfect companion for some lucky person.
Is fully vaccinated, Brucellosis tested, spayed, health checked, microchipped, flea & wormed.
