It comes with great sadness but Im looking for a loving forever home for my 2 year old American bulldog, Rocko.
He's got a great character, he's soft and playful. Loves a ball, loves destroying toys, logs etc. Loves to swim in the sea or a river. Loves walks in the forest.
He can be reactive to some dogs, big dogs mainly ( due to being attacked alot as a puppy). He doesn't like cats and will chase if he sees one running. He doesn't like children either, he wasn't brought up round them and his first encounter with a small child, as a puppy, spooked him for life. So a home without other dogs, cats or children is essential.
It really is heart breaking to have to rehome him, but my living and working situations have changed, meaning I no longer have the time he really needs. He suffers with separation anxiety, which I think stems from being with me all day long at work when he was a puppy. So leaving him alone in my home while I work isn't an option, and I have no one to dog sit him when I work.
His diet is Raw meat, and will need to stay that way.
His only flaws are, he pulls on a lead or harness at times. His separation anxiety, recall isnt the best, and as mentioned above.. he doesn't get on with most dogs, cats or children.
I won't be letting him go to just anyone, you need to fit the criteria I want for him. So questions about lifestyle etc will be asked.
If you are interested, don't hesitate to text or call. I'm trying rescue centres as we speak, but I'd prefer he went to a forever home than a kennel until one is found.
