We noticed BOBITZA - taking shelter under our van, which was parked on a driveway. When we called him, he came to us, limping badly. Straight to the Vets : Pelvic Fracture… Most likely, he was run by a vehicle.
You can see -attached here- a few photos taken then.
Following a second opinion (from other Vets) and talks with more experienced Rescuers, we decided not to operate him – as the risks involved are quite high, while the chances of perfect healing are rather slim ; therefore, we’ve let him heal in a small space / restricted movements, with diet food and prescribed supplements.
BOBITZA recovered very well. He doesn’t limp at all and he is very happy !
He weighs around 7.7Kg now ; our Vets have checked him again and again and they are quite impressed with how well he is. The only recommendation from them : keeping BOBITZA’s weight under control - as it is now.
BOBITZA was micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. We’ve had him neutered, too.
Smart, gentle and moderately active, BOBITZA is playful and very friendly with everybody - people and other dogs.
He is good with cats, too.
His date of birth was estimated by the Vets who neutered him ; he might be a bit younger, though…

Home-Check (even done online, at times) is mandatory.
We do NOT supply dogs to non-genuine Dog-Loving people. There are all kind out there... can’t be too careful !
You must have your own garden and no children under 10 years old to adopt a dog from our rescue.
We do not supply work, assistance or service dogs, regardless of what noble/moral it would be ! Should you adopt him, BOBITZA will reside as a PET in your Home and he will be well looked-after and loved !
You will also agree to keep in touch with us - so we can help with any issues.
Our preferred method of contact is over the phone or WhatsApp - as we work during the day, with limited access to emails ; it is also more expedient - we can exchange most information in one go. If you would like, we can have a video-chat so you can see BOBITZA live, before meeting him.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent Rescue and are doing substantial efforts to save these lives. We reserve the right to ask any / different price / donation for our rescue dogs - depending on circumstances. In most cases, we are not covering the costs !
We keep in touch with absolutely all adopters (more than 400 families, so far). On request, we can obtain & provide very good references from any of them.
We receive a high number of pointless messages or calls and we do not afford wasting time…
Therefore, Please, Please - NO TIMEWASTERS !
